KPR conducted a campaign to address issues related to the aging population in farming communities and the needs of cities where people are interested in safe and reliable food at the same time.
Link Farm, which allows farmers to register their crops at online marketplaces and promote them targeting consumers in cities just by taking a photo, established a digital channel that enables even elderly farmers to sell products and build networks with urban consumers.
We visited around 100 villages across the
nation and provided Link Farm training and digital education to around
2,300 farmers. 1,860
of
the farmers became
active users
of Link Farm. In addition, we launched online events and conducted media PR to
encourage citizens, buyers, to download the app. A total of 700 transactions
were generated through Link Farm in the first month after launching
the app.
